Bugs, bugs, bugs and more…

So yesterday, I found out that 2 of my hotmail accounts got hacked into and that was a bummer but on the upside I did launch this site, so I suppose it was not all a loss.

After the first day, I got lots of messages with bugs and I think I may have fixed many of them, however, there are more that I still need to plug away at.

The guestmap may take some time, so I ask people to be patient and there is a small bug with the player not working so well with Safari, so I ask those people to try Firefox.

Other than that, I have fixed all the links that people reported that were dead and added a zip folder of all my and SOA mixes in 1 single download. Save you time from clicking on each on individually.

So now things are working pretty good and its time to get back at the music end of norisounds.

Norisounds Version 2 is alive!!!

So after much time, effort and frustration.
I finally have the second version of my website up and running.
I originally tried to download a free template and creating my own from the template using CSS and other goodness but had discovered that I suck at design and image manipulation.

So instead, I found this great content management manager called Flatpress and I decided to give it a try. Since I dont have SQL option with my hosting package, this was the best solution for me to have a blogging page on my site.

It was a bit of an adventure figuring things out and lots of trial and error but in the end, its working!!!

A few new upgrades from the last version of norisounds….

*a new player that opens in its own popup window and has all my mixes in a playlist that you can choose from (this was the most frustrating part of it all, 2 days of head bashing and still not 100% of the functionality that i want…)
*a better photogallery, cause the last one sucked…
*new blogging page so I can talk about stuff
*a guestmap that you can add a pinpoint , comment, picture, etc (unfortunately this is only working in Firefox right now)
*a google translator button so you can have me in any language you want
*a comment section, so you can leave comments.
*generally a better and cleaner looking interface

So with that said, please enjoy the site and give me feedback if you feel inclined, I would much appreciate it.
